Overview

Appica Store is a working storefront, not static markup. The cart, checkout, accounts, wishlists and order tracking already run on sample data, and every store shares the same logic, so what you try in the demo is what you ship.

Screens read from a typed interface, never from a platform's API. Connect Shopify, WooCommerce, Medusa or your own backend by writing 1 adapter, with no screen to rewrite. Then keep the store closest to yours with pnpm use-demo and let the rest go.

3 stores to start from

What already works

  • Cart and discount codes

Add, update and remove, with totals from the adapter, kept per store for 30 days. 7 sample codes to try, like APPICA10.

  • Checkout

A single page with contact, address, delivery options for each store and guest checkout. Card numbers are left to your payment provider.

  • Accounts and orders

Sign-in, registration, order history with search, addresses and saved cards. Guests follow an order with its number and email.

  • Wishlists, comparison and points

Named wishlists in every store, comparison of up to 4 products in Electronics, and loyalty points in Electronics and Fashion.

  • Catalog and search

Filters driven by your data and kept in the URL, 7 sort orders, and instant search with product previews.

AI features, ready for your model

Each one is fully built and already answers with sample data. Connect the model you like through 1 prop, and shoppers get real answers. Nothing is sent to an AI model until you connect one.

  • Shopping assistant. A chat window that greets shoppers and suggests what to ask.

  • Review summaries. What people loved and what to keep in mind, with real quotes.

  • Smart comparison. How a product stacks up against the one the shopper already owns.

  • Comparison verdict. A clear pick among up to 4 compared products.

  • Specs in plain English. A spec sheet explained in words a shopper understands.

  • Product questions. Will it shrink? Asked on the product page, with the color and size on screen.

  • Search by photo. A photo of a room or an outfit, and the closest pieces in the catalog.

Built for developers and their agents

  • 1 typed adapter

Catalog, cart, wishlists and orders sit behind 1 interface, bound in 1 line. The demo adapter ships; you write the one for your backend.

  • Docs in the code

A README, AGENTS.md, 17 module guides and JSDoc on every export.

  • Ready for AI agents

5 Agent Skills teach coding agents the conventions, from composing Appica UI to writing a commerce adapter.

  • Scripts for the chores

pnpm use-demo keeps 1 store and serves it at the root. pnpm verify runs ESLint, TypeScript and Prettier.

License

One-time payment for 1 end product: a site, store or web app, for yourself or for 1 client. Build another one with another license.

You can

  • Build 1 end product for yourself or for 1 client
  • Sell what you build: take payments, charge users or run it as a SaaS
  • Have your whole team, and your client's, work on that project
  • Change anything, with no credit to Appica required
  • Get every future update of the edition, free

You can't

  • Use 1 license for a second end product
  • Resell or give away the code as a template, theme, starter, UI kit or library, changed or not
  • Put it in a site or store builder that others use to make their own
  • Publish its source code in a public repository

This is a summary. The full license is what applies.
